Children and adolescents ages 4-17 with emotional or behavioral problems who are referred by a family doctor or pediatrician can be seen.

Services provided during face to face visits can be billed to OHIP and will therefore not be charged, as long as you provide your/your child’s OHIP number each time. Please let me know at the beginning of the appointment if any extra services are needed, so you are not charged.

Telephone calls with you/your child or calls to other professionals on your child’s behalf, notes, letters, and forms that must be completed outside of appointment times will be billed to you, with the exception of physician to physician calls (OHIP billable). Rates are consistent with those recommended by the Ontario Medical Association for these services. Some notes or forms may still require discussion at an appointment to ensure that what is provided serves your child’s best interest. Also, detailed questions about your child’s care will only be answered face to face to ensure thoughtful attention to your child’s difficulties.

Appointments cancelled on less than 48 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee, generally set at 50% of the OHIP rate.

I have written several books that are relevant to children's mental health. Some are more suited to parents of youth with anxiety disorders or depression; others are more suited to children's mental health professionals. Available titles include:
